Become a Licensed
Livery (Restricted) Chauffeur

Looking to become a limousine chauffeur? MyDrive Academy offers a one-day, eight-hour Livery (Restricted) Public Chauffeur Training Course, approved by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP).*
This license allows the licensee to drive limousines and Uber Black
  • Step-by-step guidance through the license application process.
  • Full exploration and study of the Rules and Regulations governing public livery (limousine) chauffeurs.
  • Detailed, in-depth lessons about navigating Chicago’s grid system, highways, and airports.
  • Customer-service training, including serving passengers with disabilities.
  • Rules of the Road coverage including right-of-way laws, speed limits, bicycles, pedestrians, and more.
  • When: Classes on Mondays, 9 am – 5 pm; Final Exam on Tuesdays beginning at 9 am
  • Where: MyDrive Academy: 3547 W 26th St, Chicago IL
  • Cost: $120 (covers materials and one make-up exam)

Become a Licensed
Taxi Chauffeur

Become a successful, licensed taxicab driver with MyDrive Academy’s four-day Taxi Chauffeur Training Course, approved by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP).*
This license allows the licensee to drive taxicabs, limousines, and Uber Black
  • Step-by-step guidance through the license application process.
  • Full exploration and study of the Rules and Regulations governing taxicab chauffeurs.
  • Detailed, in-depth lessons about navigating Chicago’s grid system, highways, and airports.
  • Customer-service training, including serving passengers with disabilities.
  • Rules of the Road coverage including right-of-way laws, speed limits, bicycles, pedestrians, and more.
 
  • When: Classes Mondays – Thursdays, 10 am – 4 pm; Final Exam on Fridays beginning at 10 am
